Our Customers:

Since our inception, we have built an excellent reputation which can be gauged by its growing customer base in OEM industries like Automobile, Electrical, Furniture, Packaging, Equipment, Assembly & Processing Industries . A sizeable percentage (50+ %) of its production is being currently exported to European countries with plans to expand the horizon in to the North American market.

Shagun collaborates with the customers in every step of the process from designing to delivery i.e. Understand the requirement, analyze the technical feasibility, evaluate the commercial needs and make recommendations.

Lower tooling costs, less machining, optimal resource utilization and waste reduction gives us the competitive edge when it comes to the pricing.

We can produce as low as 1000 components per year to more than 100,000 components per year. Shagun is well equipped to produce components of different weights ranging from 5 grams to 4000 grams and with varying complexities, with a size of 25mm - 400mm.

Process & Control

PROCESS & CONTROL  

Melting

Material melted in furnace and monitored for melting temperature of 682 - 720 degree celsius.

Pouring

Pouring is done manually with different sizes of bowl as per the Shot, weight of  the Component and the Cavity.

Casting

Casting is done on the machine PDC 80 T / 120 T / 180 T / 400 T and checked for Underfilling, Soldering, Flow Marks and Bends.

Fettling

Fettling is done manually for removing the burr,  flashes, line marks & cleaning of holes and checked  for  Warpage.

Drilling & Machining

Drilling and machining is done as per the requirement with different Drill taps, Fixtures and Gauges. 

Vibro / Shot Blasting

Vibro finishing or Shot Blasting is done with Ceramic media or SS shots and checked for visual shine of the component. 

Inspection

Inspection is done manually as per the quality plan received from the Customer. 

Packing

Packing is done manually in Laminated Corrugated Boxes and sealed in PP in different box sizes as per the weight and the quantity as specified by the Customer.
